From the New Albany Country Club to the New Albany-Plain Local Joint Parks District, the Village of New Albany has paid close attention to the details of daily living that enhance our quality of life.  The concentration of recreational, civic, institutional and commercial activity provides residents with walkable destinations and gathering places that encourage social interaction. 

A network of parks, sidewalks, and 27 miles of leisure trails bring life and vitality to our streets.  A number of our leisure trails lead or connect to neighboring communities and  other trails outside New Albany. 

The New Albany Country Club is not only a prestigious landmark but the center of activity for all ages.  The club features a 27-hole Jack Nicklaus golf course; a 50,000 square foot club house with three restaurants and a 250-seat ballroom; a 30,000 square foot, full-service health club; five swimming pools and 18 tennis courts. 

The New Albany Links golf course, serving members and the public, features an 18-hole golf course; club house with dining, banquet facilities and workout facilities; an outdoor swimming pool and tennis courts. 

Bevelhymer Park, Thompson Road Park and Wexner Community Park, managed by the New Albany-Plain Local Joint Parks District offer a wide range of recreational activities, from ball fields and tennis courts to walking trails, playgrounds and a multi-use pavilion.  The Plain Township Aquatic Center, adjacent to the Wexner Community Park, features an outdoor pool, water slides and children’s water park.
